About DES

Our Mission

The Chouteau County Disaster and Emergency Services Office coordinates preparedness, response, mitigation, and recover efforts across Fire, EMS, Search and Rescue, law enforcement, public health, public works, and partner agencies throughout the county.

Chouteau County DES is actively working on an Emergency Preparedness procedure manual for Chouteau County. The document is projected to be complete by July 2027 and will be posted here. The plan will include:
